At first, it was 'hey. is that bee a part of the band?' Then it was, 'hey, that's the lead singer of Building 429--and he's singing our favorite song!!'

So you know all the stereotypes of NASCAR fans and Country
music....well...they are true...at least for me. Overall I would give the CMA
Awards a B+...I was disappointed that Faith Hill and Tim McGraw were not apart
of this years CMA Awards.
The most amazing dress of the night was the elegant yellow dress that former
American Idol Carrie Underwood had on during her performance. Now THAT is a
dress that I would love to wear one day.
My favorite moment of the show was when former American Idol contestant Kellie
Pickler performed her song "I Wonder". My favorite lyric in the song
is "Forgiveness is such a simple word, But it’s so hard to do, When you’ve
been hurt"....such a true statement....we know that we are to forgive but
as simple as the word seems to make the choice of forgiving it is not the
easiest thing to do. Her performance made you truly feel the lyrics...the kind
of performance Simon Cowell would have said something good about...well maybe
he wouldn't like her hairstyle. :-) At the end of the song she could not hold
back her tears...like many in the audience I joined them in tears.
